a few weeks ago, about 5 months after the series finished, i decided to finally watch 12(well, 11)-in-a-row of this series simply because i’m sure there were a few things i must have missed out on during my first run through of this series, since i was watching on a per-week basis. and i was wrong, there weren’t a few things. there were a lot of things, even just in this episode. i realize that through my first run through of this series i was so obsessed with mayama’s complications with rika and that fantastic part of the story that i completely ignored morita. so here we go, 6 months later…

after hagu’s hospitalization in the previous episode of this soon-to-end-drama-com-roma-sliceolife show, shuu has been consistently watching over her. on the morita side of things, it seems kaoru has taken a trip by himself and left his little brother alone

honey & clover ii – ep 8

takemoto and (serious-face) hagu discuss their futures, and hagu expresses concern for her desires and their effects on shuu. the incredibly strong winds cause some of the glass of the art school to shatter, and they rain down on an unaware hagu, effectively severing many nerves in her right hand. she requires 10 stitches on her head and 13 on her hands, plus months of rehabilitation.
